We’re looking for an energetic professional to head our Partnership and API Integration efforts at AWeber. You will focus on identifying, negotiating and nurturing mutually beneficial partnerships and integrations that will support our new customer growth goals. Specifically, with partners that align with AWeber’s mission for business owners of all sizes, bloggers, entrepreneurs, agencies and associations.

AWeber’s continually evolving email marketing platform has been supporting small businesses over twenty years. We are helping 100,000+ small businesses succeed with our email platform and suite of powerful integrations.

You will work closely with various AWeber teams and stakeholders to expand our reach, generate and manage new partnerships and API integrations that will mutually benefit existing and new customers. We’re looking for a successful business development leader that is comfortable with measuring success based on building successful partnerships and relationships that drive customer growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years in a business development or sales leadership role within a SaaS, B2B, Marketing or Advertising Technology environment required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience and passion for building partnerships and deals that yield success for both all parties involved.
  • Experience drafting, and negotiating, contracts and partnership agreements.
  • Experience developing, and presenting, pro formas around partnership deals
  • Established network of connections within the SaaS, B2B, agency, small business realm.
  • Exceptional communication skills – writing sales/marketing copy, presenting, networking.
  • Proven results connecting with, and closing, key decision-makers (C-Level, Senior executives).
  • Proven results as a business development or sales team leader.
  • Comfortable working in an informal, high-energy team environment.
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer and revenue growth through select partnerships among target verticals and industries that align with AWeber’s objectives and goals.
  • Monitor and present relevant benchmarks and KPIs around the impact of our partnership efforts. Create, analyze and share pipeline reports for company stakeholders.
  • Develop and present pro forma models tied to economic growth of select partnership deals.
  • Develop and conduct presentations aimed at acquiring new partners and customers, including demos, sales calls, webinars, speaking at trade shows/conferences/meetups.
  • Represent AWeber at select trade shows, conferences and customer-facing events.
  • Work with internal teams to create/update sales and marketing resources, such as copy for sales collateral, co-marketing efforts, ebooks, presentations, emails and more.
  • Monitor trends related to our industry, partners and customers and report/present on them internally.
  • Willingness to travel (10%-20%)
