Sr. Channel Enablement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Channel Enablement Specialist to take the lead in scaling and developing our channel partner enablement strategy.

The Channel Partner team at Zapier is brand new. As we focus on building our Channel Enablement strategy in 2021, we need a collaborative, experienced, and creative individual to lead partner certification, training and ongoing communication for new and growing Zapier Experts.

Zapier Experts are hands-on service channel consultants that build Zaps and workflows on behalf of their customers. They are a group of incredibly talented, driven, and passionate freelancers and consultants who base their livelihood on Zapiers’ Experts Program.

As a Sr. Channel Enablement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing the certification and training courses that can scale across thousands of prospective Experts for our next wave of Zapier Certified Experts. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams around the organization to create content and learning programs that scale with the program we’re building. This is an individual contributor role with a ton of potential for growth as we grow the Channel teams.

About You

You’ve done this before. You have 5+ years in developing partnerships or sales training, content or enablement programs. You have a deep understanding of adult learning and instructional design theories.

You know SaaS. You have a deep understanding of SaaS partner ecosystems and experience in developing and creating enablement paths to increase efficiency and scale.

You are a cross-functional team player. You have strong organizational skills with a team-centric mindset and the ability to execute. You’re able to quickly and effectively collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.

You are a platform & systems thinker. You think in terms of scale, and strategy to ensure your work contributes to a company’s sustained, long-term growth.

You’re driven by data. You use data to develop strategy. You measure your work and those of our channel partners to ensure continued performance.

You have a growth mindset. The idea of building a program from the ground up excites and motivates you.

You’re an excellent written communicator. We are, and always have been, a 100% remote team, and writing is our primary means of communication at Zapier.

You get Zapier. You’re already familiar with the automation ecosystem, and recognize Zapier as a leader in this space. Deep understanding of Zapier is a strong requirement for this role.

 

Things You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of all new channel partner certifications, designed with scale to thousands of future Zapier Experts, borrowing from best practices of SaaS industry leaders (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc).
  • Build ongoing training programs for channel partners to help them effectively build a business of their own alongside Zapiers’
    Train our Zapier Experts on new and existing product features.
  • Work closely with the Channel Partnerships team, and partner with other teams such as Marketing Programs, Video, Product, Learning and Development, and Product Marketing to set an enablement strategy.
  • Work as a liaison between Zapiers’ Product teams and our Experts, providing Expert feedback to influence product decisions.
  • Work closely with complementary SaaS partners to create app-specific certification tracks, and to embed Zapier tracks in their relevant certification courses.
  • Travel of 5-10% for company retreats that rotate to various cities throughout North America.
  • As a part of our All Hands Support initiative, help customers have the best possible experience with Zapier.

Our distributed environment lets us work with the best people. You don’t have to be located in the USA either. Some team members live in the United Kingdom, Thailand, India, Nigeria, Taiwan, Guatemala, New Zealand, Australia, and more!
